Current Status

Governed by the President of SABA, Mr Alex Bongani Maseko.

SABA is an independent non-Government body, which is apolitical in character and is registered as a Section 21 Company (non-profitable), with registration number 2004/032329/08, as the SA Bodyguard Association.

Interacting with all relevant bodies and individuals with the same interest, SABA is the link between all role-players in the industry in South Africa, guiding and assist Cpo’s to follow the correct route to become bodyguards or SASSETA and PSIRA accredited and regisrered training providers.
